Welcome to the First Annual Review Meeting of the PIRE project at City College of New York (CCNY) on June 18-20, 2018. CCNY faculty and students will be joined by international collaborators in person or remotely by web to discuss the research underway at CCNY and eleven collaborating institutions in Norway, France and Germany. Presentations will be made and discussed by international collaborators and CCNY faculty and students in all four Thrusts (Asphaltenes, Drilling Fluids, Gas Hydrates and Nanoemulsions) and Modeling and Simulation. These sessions will be followed by a tour of CCNY laboratories including the Advanced Science Research Center, welcoming reception, and dinner.
